IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Training (Friday - Saturday)    Fri Mar 24 to Sat Mar 25, 2017, Ottawa, ON

We can’t wait for Paris. Our planet and society have reached a critical time for action—and we are responding by engaging young Canadians who are passionate about improving their communities by giving them the knowledge, the inspiration, and the support to bring their sustainability initiatives from ideation to realization.

The award-winning IMPACT! Youth Sustainability Leadership Program is accepting applications for the Ottawa training in March 2017. This program is for aspiring leaders who want to make a difference in their community and build a more sustainable planet.

Building a movement

We now have a movement of over 1,200 young leaders who are championing sustainability initiatives and making a lasting impact in the business and nonprofit worlds. To date, IMPACT! has funded over 124 unique initiatives providing more than $678,000 in seed funding since 2009.

We are seeking applicants who are students or recent grads from post-secondary institutions, and are between the ages of 19 and 30.

Catalyzing ideas through:
• In-person training session with expert facilitators and inspiring local speakers
• Sustainability 101 eLearning course
• Networking with local professionals and ambitious young leaders
*Opportunity to apply for $5000 in funding
• Post-training support including: Professional coaching, access to mentorship, national network of 1200 alumni

Thanks to generous funders and partners, the highly-subsidized participant commitment fee is only $100, and entrance fee bursaries are available to ensure this is not a barrier.
